What do Kenyans expect from the Paris 2024 Olympics?

With challenges in cheating from doping to cheating in age, there is higher confidence placed in Kenya’s team to carry the flag high. This was expressed by Kenya’s Director for Youth and Development, Barnaba Korir who said that the team is the best assembled ever.

NOC-K president, Mr. Paul Tergat named five track events he expects gold medals which include a marathon led by Eliud Kipchoge, who holds the title. Other competitions to expect gold medals are 1500M, 3000 M steeplechase for women, and 800M for men. However, steeplechase for men has recently been competitive. Kenya has been beaten in this although it has been shinning all along. This year, things may change according to Korir.

Based on this team, Kenya expects to take home nearly 20 medals. All the best to the team as we cheer at home.
